Spied: The All-New Updated Toyota Etios & Etios Liva
Toyota Motors plan on introducing all-new Etios compact sedan and Etios Liva hatchback in India. Now, both models were spied from the inside out. Here are a few images of the facelifted Toyota Etios and Etios Liva.
An all-new front grille will be seen on the updated Etios and Etios Liva. Front and rear bumpers have been redesigned for a dynamic and sporty appeal. The headlights and tail lamps have also been tweaked by Toyota for a better first impression.
Unfortunately, Toyota has not changed the placement of its speedometer and tachometer. It continues to be in the centre, and India also misses out on an all digital instrument console. The Toyota Etios and Etios Liva will be equipped with an all-new in-house entertainment system.
Under the hood, the engine for the 2016 Toyota Etios and Etios Liva will remain unchanged. A 1.4-litre diesel engine and 1.5-litre petrol engine will be offered in the hatchback and compact sedan. Both models will be equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox, and no automatic option will be offered.
It will be interesting to see if the 2016 Toyota Etios and Etios Liva will be a hit with the general public. The previous iteration of the hatchback and compact sedan were a hit within the Taxi fleet. The updated Toyota Etios and Etios Liva will witness a marginal increase in pricing as well.
