Mercedes-Benz Compact Luxury Sedan India Launch On November 30
An all-new CLA compact luxury sedan will be launched in India by Mercedes-Benz on November 30, 2016. Updated Mercedes CLA will draw inspiration from the all-new A-Class luxury hatchback.
Mercedes-Benz India will be launching the all-new CLA compact luxury sedan on November 30, 2016. This is the first facelift/update provided to the CLA model in India. Very first version of Mercedes-Benz CLA was introduced in the Indian market approximately a year ago.
All-new CLA compact sedan will draw inspiration from the updated A-Class hatchback. Mercedes-Benz will redesign the front bumper, grille, alloy wheels, and rear bumper. Overall, designers will not alter the bodyline of the Mercedes CLA, maintaining its unique design.
Under the hood, Mercedes-Benz India is unlikely to make any changes in the updated CLA compact sedan. The CLA will continue to be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, both will be mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission, no manual gearbox will be offered.
Once the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA is launched it will compete with the Audi A3 and the BMW 3 Series in India. Updated CLA compact luxury sedan will bear a price tag in excess of the outgoing model. There is also a possible launch of an updated Mercedes CLA AMG model in the near future.
