Spied: New Maruti-Suzuki Alto 800
The facelifted Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 has been spied completely undisguised ahead of its expected launch later this month.
The spied Alto 800 hatchback showcases very minor changes with regards to its design. All the changes that have happened are up front.
The biggest change is the smaller grille which remains a single slat unit but is now a lot more slimmer. The Suzuki badge now sits on the front bumper between the grille and the trapezoidal air intake. Also featured on the grille are slots for the fog lamps.
Also new are the revised headlamps which feature yellow lenses for the turn indicators. The turn indicators are surrounded by chrome elements which separate them from the headlamps.
The new Alto 800 is expected to use the same 796cc 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 47bhp and 69Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and returns a mileage of 22.7km/l. The CNG variant is also expected to be retained.
