Get Ready To Discover The New Land Rover
Land Rover has revealed the images of 2017 Discovery, which will be showcased on the eve of Paris Motor Show on 28th of September. This will be the fifth generation Discovery from Land Rover. When it was first showcased back in 1989 Frankfurt Motor Show, it was a revelation in automobile industry.
The latest version also remains as 7-seater model, resulting in spacious legroom and headroom. Land Rover is aiming at adding more style cues to the Discovery to upmarket the model to standards of its siblings. But still Discovery will retain its off-roading capabilities as ever.
The styling of the latest Discovery was previously showcased in the Discovery Vision Concept model in New York in April 2014. Then, Land Rover launched Discovery Sport, a smaller version of SUV that still had 7-seater option. Discovery Sport is one among best selling SUV's, it has even outmatched the Range Rover Evoque.
The new Discovery will be lighter than its previous models, which will help in increased performance and mileage, as the new Discovery is expected to be equipped with 2-litre diesel mill. Discovery will go head-on with Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90. More detailed technical information will be available when the SUV will be launched at Paris Motor Show this month.
