New Honda Amaze To Come With Air-Con As Standard
The new 2016 Honda Amaze facelift to be launched on 3rd March will have automatic AC for from the standard variant itself.
As per CarDekho, the spy shots reveal the details of the interiors. The main takeaway is the 'Max Cool' button which is seen as touch unit in the City and Jazz vehicles from Honda.
The base variant will not have the defogger, however, the higher variants will see this feature. Other observations are the simple changes in the dashboard, the layout is very much like the Honda designed interiors of their cars.
The black palettes for the infotainment system is not carry anything suggesting the infotainment system will be available in the mid variant onwards. The spy shots of the higher variant reveal the infotainment system with chrome highlights with Bluetooth connectivity, however, the touchscreen will not be an option on any of the variants.
The steering wheel remains the same as the previous model of the Amaze and no changes in the door panels and the central tunnel.
As for the safety features of the Amaze, the base variant will not have the dual airbags and ABS with EBD. This feature will be available in the mid variant onwards. The Honda Amaze's competitors like the Ford Figo Aspire and yet to be launched Volkswagen Ameo offer these safety features from the base variant itself.
The performance of the Amaze will remain the same as the outgoing car, a 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine which is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The petrol engine will be powered by the 1.2 litre i-VTEC, which will be mated to 5-speed manual and automatic gearbox.
