New Chevrolet Cruze Launched In India At Rs. 14.68 Lakh

Chevrolet India has launched the new 2016 Cruze sedan in the country. The updated sedan is priced between Rs. 14.68 lakh to Rs. 17.81 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Several new features and striking visual updates have been provided to the 2016 Cruze.

Here are the new variants and pricing of 2016 Chevrolet Cruze sedan:

• Chevrolet Cruze LT with manual transmission is priced at Rs. 14.68 lakh
• Chevrolet Cruze LTZ with manual transmission is priced at Rs. 16.75 lakh
• Chevrolet Cruze LTZ with automatic transmission is priced at Rs. 17.81 lakh

All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom (Delhi).

Powering the 2016 Cruze is a 2.0-litre VCDi diesel, turbocharged engine. Chevrolet India will be pairing the engine to an optional 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The diesel engine produces 163.72bhp, along with 380Nm of peak torque output.

Upfront, Chevrolet designers have provided 2016 Cruze with an all-new fascia. The rear gets an updated lip spoiler with new exhaust outlets. New projector foglamps and LED Daytime Running Lights have also been included in the updated exterior package.

Within the cabin, Chevrolet India will be providing a 7-inch MY-LINK touchscreen infotainment system. The entertainment system is coupled with SmartRadio, Grace Note, and SIRI EYES FREE Compatibility. An all-new Rear Vision Camera is included with MY-LINK.

In terms of safety, the 2016 Cruze is equipped with dual front airbags and two side airbags. The sedan is also fitted with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with electronic sensors, Passive Entry Passive Start, child seat provision, engine immobiliser, anti-theft alarm, and programmable auto door locks.
