Mercedes Tease Hardcore AMG GTR, Launch Date Revealed

The skunkworks at Mercedes AMG are feeling racy again and they've gotten their hands on their own sports car, the AMG GT S.

The result - a hardcore, growling turbocharged V8 car that looks to conquer the the roads and racetracks of the world especially the Green Hell known as the Nurburgring (Duh! It's a German sports car, of course it will lap the Ring).

The AMG GTR as the new car is known (We do wonder what Nissan thinks of the name?) will flex its muscles at the world on June 24.
