Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV Expected India Launch By June
Mercedes-Benz India plans on introducing several new models in the country during 2016. The German-based automobile manufacturer is most likely to launch its GLC SUV in India during June 2016. GLC SUV by Mercedes-Benz was unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi.
For 2016, Mercedes-Benz India plans on introducing twelve new models in the country. The GLC SUV is part of their strategic launches for the Indian market. Mercedes GLC SUV is based on their popular C-Class sedan, which is appreciated all over the world.
Powering the GLC SUV will be a 2.1-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine. Mercedes-Benz will equip the engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The engine will deliver power to all four wheels through Mercedes-Benz's 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.
Interiors of the GLC SUV by Mercedes-Benz will be premium and exquisite as always. Several creature comforts will be standard features in the all-new SUV. Customers will find various similarities between the GLC and the current generation of the C-Class on offer in India.
Once the GLC SUV is launched in India by Mercedes-Benz, it will compete against the likes of BMW X1 and the Audi Q3 models. In terms of pricing, the GLC will be priced approximately between Rs. 40-45 lakh ex-showroom.
