Mercedes-Benz Launches C 250 d In India, Priced At Rs. 44.36 Lakhs
German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz has launched the C 250 d in India. The new luxury sedan from the C-Class range is priced at Rs. 44.36 lakhs ex-showroom.
The C 250 d is powered by a 2.1-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 201bhp and 500Nm of torque. The new sedan sends its power to the rear wheels through an all new 9-speed automatic gearbox and returns a mileage of 19.71km/l.
The C 250 d can sprint to 100km/h from zero in just 6.6 seconds and will keep on pushing till it hits the electronic speed limiter at 247km/h.
Style wise, the C 250 d has an all LED Intelligent Light System that automatically adapts to the lighting and driving conditions. Also new outside are the17-inch 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels which are painted in Vanadium Silver.
Inside the new C 250 d has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which also plays host to the Garmin MAP PILOT navigation system.
The new C 250 d luxury sedan features ambient lighting as a standard feature. There are three different lighting colours - Solar (amber), Polar (ice blue) and Neutral (White).
Mercedes-Benz have already started local production of the new C 250 d sedan to cater to the increasing demand of the C-Class and reduce the waiting period considerably.
