Red Bull & Not Ferrari Threatening Mercedes Formula One Domination
Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team has been dominating the championship for a while. Initially, it was considered that Scuderia Ferrari would be the team that would pose a threat to their 2016 Championship title hopes.
To everyone's surprise, it is Red Bull Racing that is the most competitive team after Mercedes. In the last few races, Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen have competed for the podium. In qualifying as well it is Red Bull Racing and not Ferrari that can set times similar to Mercedes.
Next Formula One race will be contested at Hungary. Red Bull Racing is considered to be extremely competitive around Hungaroring circuit. Toto Wolff has asked his entire team to deliver a flawless performance this Sunday establishing their dominance.
Currently, Nico Rosberg leads 2016 Formula One Championship from Lewis Hamilton by a single point. Kimi Raikkonen is third and closely followed by Daniel Ricciardo. Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen stand in fourth and fifth place respectively.
