Maruti Vitara Brezza Teased Prior To Auto Expo Global Premier

Maruti Suzuki plans on introducing several new products in the Indian market during 2016. The Japanese based manufacturer will be showcasing several of their future products at the 2016 Auto Expo. Recently, Maruti Suzuki revealed a silhouette of their all-new compact SUV.

The new compact SUV by Maruti Suzuki will be christened as 'Vitara Brezza'. Maruti Suzuki promises that the global premiere of Vitara Brezza will be done at 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Now the automobile manufacturer has provided another teaser image of their upcoming compact SUV.

Previously, the Vitara Brezza was showcased as the XA Alpha concept at the 2012 Auto Expo. Maruti Suzuki development team has spent over five years in the development of their all-new compact SUV. The Vitara Brezza was engineered and designed by a team lead by Mr. Raman, Chief Engineer at Maruti Suzuki.

Under the hood of Vitara Brezza will be a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel engine. Both engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and will power the front wheels. Maruti Suzuki could provide the compact SUV with an optional CVT at a later stage.

Once launched, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is expected to have a base price of Rs. 6 lakh ex-showroom. The Vitara Brezza compact SUV will compete with the likes of Ford EcoSport, Mahindra TUV3OO and soon to be launched Tata Nexon.
