Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Achieves 1.72 Lakh Bookings Since Launch

This was confirmed by Head of Marketing, Maruti Suzuki, RS Kalsi on an event to celebrate this feat. Available in only diesel variant, the Vitara Brezza took no time to be the best selling SUV in India.

The compact SUV from Maruti Suzuki features striking design language and the interior of the vehicle is loaded with features. This urban SUV is the most sold vehicle after Ford EcoSport.

Recently Maruti Suzuki also provided a host of customisation options to the Vitara Brezza under the iCreate scheme to increase the appeal of the compact SUV.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki is striving hard to keep up with the demand of Vitara Brezza. The company's manufacturing facility is already maxed out and the waiting period for the Brezza stands at five to six months.

Despite the long waiting period for the compact SUV, the demand for the Brezza has not dropped. With the new manufacturing facility in Gujarat set to be operational in March 2017, the situation will improve.

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is powered by 1.3-litre turbocharged diesel engine which produces 89bhp of power and 200Nm of peak torque. The engine is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox.

The most sold variant of the Vitara Brezza is the top of the line ZDi and ZDi Plus trims. Both the trims comes with features such as automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, SmartPlay infotainment system with Voice Commands, Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity, leather upholstery and many more.

The safety features on the top variant Brezza includes dual airbags and ABS with EBD. An optional safety pack is also on offer. The Brezza comes with a price tag of Rs 7.19 lakh to Rs 9.66 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
