Maruti Suzuki Showcases The Vitara Brezza (AMT) in Indonesia
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza debuted in Indonesia at the ongoing 2016 GIIAS. The model debuted at the GIIAS is the variant with an optional AMT gearbox.
In Indonesia, the Vitara Brezza will rival compact SUVs like the Ford EcoSport, Toyota Rush, and Chevrolet Trax. Indonesia will be the only market outside India where the Brezza will be sold.
The gearbox offered in the Indonesian-spec Brezza will be the same 5-speed AMT. The engine will be a 1.3-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 90bhp and 200Nm of peak torque.
The fuel efficiency figures of the Vitara Brezza AT is unknown. In india, the Brezza with 5-speed manual gearbox is claimed to deliver 24.3km/l.
In Indonesia, Suzuki will offer the compact SUV only with a diesel engine. The Vitara Brezza has received a good response in India, as it is the best-selling Utility Vehicle in the country.
