Maruti Suzuki Has More In The Store For Its Customers
Maruti Suzuki wants to strengthen its hold over bigger cars and SUV segment. After the firm's success with the Ciaz sedan and recently launched Brezza SUV, Maruti Suzuki plans to launch more of SUVs and bigger cars.
Maruti Suzuki, MD and CEO, Kenichi Ayukawa, said that, the company is very happy with the response for Ciaz and Brezza, people in India are expecting premium cars from Maruti Suzuki.

Maruti Suzuki has market shares of nearly 47 percent, and expects the numbers to grow by 10 percent, by end of this year. Ayukawa said that, Maruti Suzuki will begin production in Gujarat from 2017.
Maruti Suzuki has two manufacturing units in Haryana, at Gurgaon and Manesar. Two plants can produce 15 lakh units per year. Ayukawa said that efforts will be made to up the production rate by 10 percent, by adding a third shift in production.
Although, Maruti Suzuki's strong territory is, the entry segment cars. Currently its rival firms are giving a tough competition in this segment. Ayukawa said that, they are speculating a new version of Alto, to tackle the new challenges.
