Maruti Suzuki Records Exporting More Than 1.5 Million Units
Maruti Suzuki is the number one manufacturer and seller in the Indian market. They have now recorded exporting over 1.5 million units. The Japanese-based automobile manufacturer commenced exports back in 1987-88 to European markets.
The Zen, 800, were exported to international markets back in the 90s. Maruti Suzuki followed their export with A-Star, which is currently discontinued. The Alto is extremely popular in international markets and has witnessed great success within their export range.
Recently, Maruti Suzuki commenced exporting its Baleno premium hatchback to Japan. Baleno is their very first product to be exported from India to the Japanese market. Maruti Suzuki's presence in the international has been growing at a steady pace.
Currently, the Japanese-based manufacturer exports a wide array of automobiles. As of now, Maruti Suzuki has a presence in more than 100 countries. Automobiles are exported to developed as well as emerging markets, which suffice all safety and other regulations.
