'Gatimaan Ki Paathshala' — An Awareness Program From Maruti Suzuki
India's leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki conducting a Road Safety awareness program named as 'Gatimaan Ki Paathshala'.
The awareness program is mainly targeted for the school children of 7-10 age group to create awareness about the road safety and traffic rules.
The Maruti Suzuki has designed the initiative in an entertaining way, which includes play activities and classroom sessions.
For the awareness program, the company has made a special character and named as 'Gatimaan', which explain what to Do and what not to Do on road safety through an Interactive program. Along with this, Maruti Suzuki has made the schedule for the children like traffic signals, bicycle and battery operated kids car.
Maruti Suzuki associated with the Gurgaon Police will cover 125 schools and 50,000 students. The awareness program was inaugurated by V Puran Kumar, IPS, Joint Commissioner (Traffic), Gurgaon Police at Manav Rachna School sector 51, Gurgaon
Speaking about the awareness program, Mahesh Rajoria, Assistant Vice President, Maruti Driving Schools, Maruti Suzuki India said,"Gatimaan ki Paathshala strengths our road safety program and educating the children's at this young age will help them for a responsible road habits at an early stage. By teaching these children, we are able to send an awareness message of the road safety and significance of the traffic rules amongst their friends and family members as well."
