Maruti S-Cross Being Recalled For Faulty Brake Component
Maruti Suzuki's very first offering from the Nexa outlet is being recalled pan India. Over 20,000 units of the S-Cross are being recalled for a potential fault in the brake assembly. A Service Campaign is being organised by Maruti Suzuki to inspect and rectify any issue if found.
The S-Cross models manufactured by Maruti Suzuki, during April 20, 2015, to February 12, 2016. Free of cost inspection will be conducted, if a fault is found in the brake assembly, it will be replaced by Maruti Suzuki for free.
Owners will be directly contacted by the showroom where the S-Cross was purchased. Vehicle owners can also head on to Maruti Suzuki's website where chassis number can be submitted to know if the vehicle is recalled or not. Customers need to fill their details on nexaexperience, com.
Both variants of the S-Cross are affected by the faulty brake components. The DDiS 200 and DDiS 320 variants of S-Cross will be recalled. It is estimated that approximately 20,427 units of the S-Cross could be affected by the recall.
