Mahindra Could Make The XUV Aero Concept A Reality
At 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi, Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled its unique XUV Aero Concept. The concept is based on Mahindra's XUV5OO with an all-new sloping rear-end and premium interiors.
Now, officials confirm there is a possibility that XUV Aero could enter production.
However, we do not expect Mahindra to launch the XUV Aero soon in the Indian market. Mahindra is still to go a nod to this project. Once the production is confirmed, it will take a minimum of two years for the manufacturer to bring XUV Aero on to the showrooms.
So far, no details have been shared regarding XUV Aero's power unit. It is most likely that Mahindra would opt for existing engines that do duty in its XUV5OO model. Mahindra's engineers will be providing unique drive and suspension modes based on driving conditions.
Regarding the design, Mahindra XUV Aero will be inspired from BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe.
The concept vehicle was used by Mahindra to showcase several of its innovative features. An all-new connectivity and infotainment system were the highlight of XUV Aero Concept.
