This Mahindra Scorpio Getaway 6x6 Is A Desi Offroader
The Mumbai based SPdesign custom vehicle design house has rendered a 6x6 version of the Mahindra Scorpio Getaway.
After the launch of Mercedes-AMG 6x6, having three axles on an offroader is the new cool. Inspired by this many custom off-road vehicle builders tried this recipe.
The result was, across the world many custom builders took the Jeeps, Ford Raptors and Hummers to attach an extra axle and build the extra bodywork to make it an ultimate off-roading machine.
Soon this new trend was caught up by the Indians. In 2014 a Punjab-based custom vehicle builder SD Offroaders Nakodar built a Mahindra Thar 6x6 pickup.
Well, here is an another addition to the list of growing 6x6 mud biting machines. A Mumbai-based custom design house known as SPdesign has come up with a rendering of Mahindra Scorpio Getaway 6x6.
The Scorpio Getaway gets an extra axle at the rear, chromed rails for the deck, wide body kit and off roading tyres. This is just an imagination from the design house and if its is turned into reality this one will be mighty desi offroading machine.
The Mahindra Scorpio Getaway is offered in both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive options and now of course the six-wheel-drive!
The Mahindra Scorpio Getaway is powered by 2.6-litre turbocharged CRDe diesel engine which pumps out 115bhp of power and 277Nm of torque. The power might have to be doubled if at all the 6x6 monster comes out.
