Mahindra Recalls New-Gen Scorpio And Nuvosport — Is Yours On The List?
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is recalling its new generation Scorpio and the Nuvosport for a pro-active inspection of a faulty fluid hose. The recall is for vehicles manufactured until 2016 said the company in a statement to the stock exchanges.
The customers will be contacted for the inspection and the subsequent rectification will be done free of cost; however, Mahindra did not confirm the number of vehicles which are being recalled for the rectification.
Mahindra & Mahindra said, "As an endeavour to ensure a hassle free experience for its customers, the company is proactively carrying out this activity. This action is also in compliance with SIAM's voluntary code on vehicle recall,"
The company had recalled the SsangYong Rexton SUV for a suspected fault with the rear driveshaft last month. In the last four years, Indian automakers have recalled nearly 2.24 million vehicles mainly in concern of safety aspect of the vehicles.
