Mahindra and Mahindra recently launched a new SUV in the Indian market. The Indian automobile manufacturer christened the product as 'KUV1OO'. A goal of selling approximately 90,000 units per year is set by Mahindra officials.
The KUV1OO was launched in India during January 2016 at an attractive price of Rs. 4.42 lakh ex-showroom (Pune). Mahindra revealed that dealerships had received inquiries in excess of 50,000 across the country. The manufacturer is confident on converting the inquiries into roughly 7,000 sales per month.
From April 2016, Mahindra is set to begin export of KUV1OO to right-hand drive markets. Several attract modes of purchase are prepared for young buyers. Mahindra is developing special schemes for college students planning to buy the KUV100.
The KUV1OO by Mahindra is powered by a petrol as well as a diesel engine. Both engines are developed by Mahindra from the ground up. The KUV1OO will be the second monocoque vehicle from Mahindra's facility. The first monocoque model was the XUV5OO model.
Mahindra offers the KUV1OO with ABS (Anti-lock braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) as standard equipment across variants. Dual front airbags are available as an option to the customer from the base variant of KUV1OO.
