Mahindra Launches Imperio Pickup In India For Rs. 6.25 Lakh
Mahindra launches the Imperio pickup in India for Rs. 6.25 lakh ex-showroom (Thane) onward. The Imperio is available in single and double cabin configurations. Bookings for the Imperio pickup, however, began almost a week ago. The Mahindra Imperio will replace the Genio in the Indian market.

The Mahindra Imperio has been designed and developed at the Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai, but will be manufactured at the company's Chakan facility.

- SC (BS III): Rs. 6.25 lakh
- SC (BS IV): Rs. 6.40 lakh
- SC VX (BS III): Rs. 6.60 lakh
- SC VX (BS IV): Rs. 6.75 lakh
Double Cabin
- DC (BS III): Rs. 6.60 lakh
- DC (BS IV): Rs. 6.75 lakh
- DC VX (BS III): Rs. 7.12 lakh
- DC VX (BS IV): Rs. 7.27 lakh

Engine, Gearbox, And Specifications
The Mahindra Imperio comes with a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 75bhp and 220Nm of torque. The turbocharged diesel engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine returns a fuel efficiency of 13.55km/l.
The newly launched pickup will have a payload capacity of 1,240kg and weighs 2,930kg.

The Mahindra Imperio pickup comes with features such as new generation headlights, aggressive bumper, 16-inch tyres, air conditioning, tiltable power steering, and engine immobilizer.
