Mahindra eSupro Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs. 8.45 Lakh

Mahindra has launced its third electric vehicle, the eSupro electric van in India. Prices for the electric variant of the Supro start at Rs. 8.45 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).

The eSupro lineup is India's first zero emission range of all electric cargo and passenger vans.

The Mahindra eSupro is powered by a three phase induction AC Motor that produces 33.53bhp @ 3,000rpm and 90Nm of torque @ 1,500rpm. The eSupro has a top speed of 60km/h.

The electric motor is connected to a 200Ah battery which delivers 112 kilometres of range for the passenger variant and 115 kilometres of range for the cargo variant.

The battery takes 8 hours 45 mins to charge using a 15amp plug point.

The eSupro is 3,798mm long, 1,540mm wide, and 1,920mm tall. The electric van has a wheelbase of 1,920mm while the round clearance is quite high at 130mm.

The eSupro Cargo weighs in at 1,280 kilograms while the passenger variant is 40 kilos heavier at 1320 kilograms (kerb weight).

The eSupro Cargo can carry a payload of 600 kilograms while the passenger variant can fit eight passengers inside it.

The eSupro sits on 13-inch wheels that are shod with 155/80 R13 tubeless tyres. The electric van has disc brakes up front and drum brakes at the rear.
