As a step towards transportation solutions especially during the floods in the Philippines, Mahindra has launched an 'almost flood-proof' variant of the Enforcer pickup. The Enforcer pickup is an older version of the Bolero pickup built in India.
The new variant is available in both single door and double door cab variants, this has been priced between PHP 680,000 to PHP 875,000 (Rs 9.39 lakh to Rs 12.08 lakh).
The reason behind Mahindra is offering the variant is provide confidence to business owners of transporting goods during any weather conditions. This includes knee-level flooding on the streets as well.
The Enforcer ‘Floodbuster' comes fitted with a vertical snorkel and an anti-roll bar to counter the trickiest conditions.
Mahindra has features the new Enforcer ‘Floodbuster' with black headlamp surrounds and grille, which differentiates itself with the standard Enforcer in the country.
Mahindra has powered the Enforcer with a 2.5-litre turbodiesel four-cylinder engine producing 99bhp and 240Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox which sends the power to rear wheels.
The Enforcer is available as a 4X4 drivetrain as an option in both the single and the double cab variants. The vertical snorkel, the anti-roll bars, and other water wading capabilities which come factory fitted.
