Mahindra National Road Safety Week 2016 Celebration

National Road Safety Week by Mahindra will be organised from January 10 to 16, 2016. Mahindra & Mahindra will be organising celebration events across the country. SIAM-SAFE and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will be partnering with Mahindra in the initiative.

The 2016 theme for Mahindra's National Road Safety Week is 'Road Safety: Time for Action'. Creating road safety awareness is the primary goal of Mahindra through this initiative. All 400 Mahindra dealerships will participate in the campaign.

Road rage is a growing concern in India among two-wheeler and four-wheeler owners. Several Indian vehicle owners follow unsafe driving practices. Education on Road Safety is a must for all new as well as existing individuals in the country.

Road Safety will dramatically improve once several individuals begin to follow rules and regulations. Traffic engineering, road infrastructure, driver training, driving etiquette, and vehicle safety can improve occupant safety in an automobile.
