Arvind Mathew To Be Replaced By Mahesh Babu As CEO Of Mahindra Reva
Mahindra's electric car division, Mahindra Reva is set to promote Mahesh Babu as the company's new CEO, replacing Arvind Mathew, who will step down from his position.
Mahesh Babu has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Mahindra Reva since January 2015 and was also the key person to help develop the XUV500 as the project head.
Arvind Mathew took over from Chetan Maini as the CEO on May 1, 2015. Maini resigned as the head of Reva and now is the Advisor for Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of the Mahindra Group. Mathew was formerly the Managing Director for Ford India and comes with over 20 years of experience.
