Video: “The Green Hell Is Our Playground,” Lotus

The new video shows how good is Lotus's new track-focused 3-Eleven around Nurburgring Nordschleife. It is arguably the fastest car around the Nurburgring.

Lotus has also claimed that the vehicle "achieved one of the fastest ever lap times around the Nürburgring for any class of car."

Unfortunately, the statement is misleading because driver Marc Basseng never managed that impressive number during a single time around the course.

The video shows the car overtake a number cars including two Porsches. See how easy Basseng slices right past them.
