Spy Pics: Lexus RX450h SUV Spotted In India Ahead Of Launch
Japanese luxury carmaker Lexus is a brand India is quite familiar thanks to its repeated postponed attempts to enter India and help parent carmaker Toyota take on the might of Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW.
However, the Japanese luxury icon is set enter India early next year and it will open two showrooms in Delhi and Mumbai and has already started importing quite a few of its cars and SUVs into the country.
The latest proof of the imminent launch of Lexus (something Mercedes, Audi and BMW will not like one bit) can be found in these spy pics obtained by CarandBike.com which shows what clearly is the Lexus 450h in what appears to be a stockyard.
The Lexus RX450h uses a hybrid powertain (the reason for the h in the name) which combines a 3.5-litre V6 VVT-i petrol engine with an electric motor to produce 308bhp.
Design wise, the Lexus features the huge Lexus grille up front along with all the angular panels and lights that make any modern Lexus recognizable on the streets.
Inside, the new SUV features layers of leather along with a boatload of tech including a big infotainment display.
