Lexus India Bookings Now Open, Deliveries Begin In March
Lexus has commenced bookings of its three models that will soon be launched in the Indian market. The very first Lexus dealership will be inaugurated in Mumbai followed by several other locations.
Lexus has now officially started accepting bookings for models to be sold in India. Deliveries of Lexus models in India are expected to begin by March 2017. The very first dealership by the luxury Japanese brand will be inaugurated in Mumbai shortly.
All Lexus showrooms will be known as ‘Lexus Boutique'. The Mumbai Lexus dealership will likely be inaugurated at Taj Hotel in Santacruz. Locations will be strategically chosen and the Mumbai outlet will be extremely close to the domestic airport.
Customers will have the option to choose between three luxury Lexus models. The Lexus RX450h and LX450d will be their SUV offerings, while the ES300h is their sedan model. All three models will be introduced as CBU (Completely Built Unit) models, with local assembly plans for a later stage.
Post the Mumbai dealership launch, Lexus will be inaugurating showrooms in Bangalore, Delhi, and Gurgaon. All these outlets will be set up by Lexus during the first half of 2017. The second set of Lexus dealerships will be inaugurated in Cochin, Chennai, and Chandigarh by 2017-end.
