Lamborghini Huracan Loses Its Top; Launched In India For Rs. 3.89 Crore
The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder has been launched in India for Rs. 3.89 crore ex-showroom (Delhi). The launch of the Huracan Spyder also marks the inauguration of Lamborghini's new showroom in Mumbai.
The Lamborghini Huracan itself was launched back in 2014 to replace the Gallardo, and the Huracan proved to be a successful model for Lamborghini worldwide. The Huracan Spyder was recently showcased in New York and carries forward the same design, but with a retractable roof.
Powering the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 that produces 602bhp and 560Nm of peak torque. The power is sent to all its four wheels through an electronic All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system and a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox.
Lamborghini has managed to keep up the performance figures, in spite of the marginal weight gain. The car accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and will attain a top speed of 324km/h.
The retractable roof being the main highlight of the car, can be opened and closed in 17 seconds, while the car is travelling under 50km/h. The Huracan features a lighter and stiffer chassis compared to the Gallardo.
The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder features three driving modes: Strada, Sport, and Corsa, similar to its coupe version, the Huracan. The Italian carmaker also offers a wide customisation possibility with the Huracan Spyder.
The newly launched Lamborghini Huracan Spyder was launched at the Italian carmaker's new dealership in Mumbai itself, which is located at Cnergy, Appasaheb Marathe Marg, Prabhadevi, Mumbai.
