Lamborghini Centenario Loses Its Top — The Centenario Roadster Is Here!

Lamborghini has just unveiled the Centenario Roadster with a price tag more than $2.2 million (Rs. 14 Cr.)

Lamborghini will be making only 20 examples of the car, and they're all sold out already.

The Italian supercar maker unveiled its automotive masterpiece this week, at Pebble Beach. Lamborghini had the coupe version of the Centenario earlier this year.

The engine used on the Roadster will be the standard naturally aspirated V12 from the Aventador, that produces 770bhp.

Lamborghini developed the Centenario to celebrate the hundredth birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini, and the roadster will deliver "the freedom of a true supersport roadster for a pure drive experience," said Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali.

The Centenario represents a new design direction, with clean surfaces and superb reflections.
