Lamborghini To Launch Avio Special Edition In India On September 22
Lamborghini India will be launching an all-new Special Edition model on September 22, 2016. The Italian supercar maker has christened the Special Edition as 'Avio'. Designers have taken inspiration from the aeronautic and aviation industry.
Only 250 Lamborghini Avio Special Edition supercars are available worldwide. Unfortunately, the pricing of this Special Edition has not yet been revealed. We believe Lamborghini India will ask a hefty premium over the Huracan, on which the Avio Special Edition is based upon.
The Avio Special Edition will adorn a unique fighter jet plane livery. This will be Lamborghini's tribute model to its Air Force. Each of the 250 Special Edition Avio supercars will bear a ‘L63' logo, which denotes Lamborghini's year of inception.
The interior receives black Alcantara leather, seats gets laser engraved hexagonal motif. Special Edition badges will be seen on the seat as well as on the dashboard. Customers can also opt for Lamborghini's Ad Personam program for their Avio Special Edition.
Powering the Lamborghini Avio Special Edition will be a 5.2-litre V10 naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine will produce 610bhp, along with 560Nm of torque, and is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The Avio will be capable of attaining a top speed of 325km/h.
