That’s One Hot Looking Hatch, Kia Rio 2017 Revealed

After the very first spy pics of KIA next-gen Rio being tested flooded the internet, now an official teaser has been revealed by Kia. In these pictures, the hatch looks very aggressively styled, with oversize wheels.

The 2017 Rio is completely different from its older counterpart. As the new car looks absolutely stunning. This is the result of work from the design teams from Germany and California. Also the base team from Namyang, South Korea has worked on the car.

Not only the exterior, but the interior also have been revamped. This suggests that Kia has plans of up marketing its mini offering. It's one of Kia's best-selling cars around the world. With over 4,73,000 cars being sold last year.

There are not many technical details revealed, but it's mentioned that the wheelbase of the new car will be longer than the current car. This means that the car will be spacious enough for passengers. Also, the 2017 car will be equipped with latest connectivity features as well.

The Rio is expected to share most of its components from its sister companies Hyundai i20, which has a 1-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged mill and comes with two options of 100bhp and a 120bhp. The new Rio will be making its appearance on September 29th at Paris Motor Show.
