Jaguar Land Rover Becomes The Largest Car Manufacturer In The UK

largest
car
manufacturer
in
the
UK.
The
British
luxury
car
brand
was
taken
over
by
Tata
Motors
over
seven-years-ago.
This financial year, Jaguar Land Rover achieved the title this by pushing Nissan to second place, building 489,923 cars in the UK in the previous year.
"Britain is the beating heart of our business, so becoming the country's largest vehicle manufacturer is a remarkable achievement, demonstrating our steadfast commitment to the UK manufacturing sector," said Wolfgang Stadler, Jaguar Land Rover's executive director of manufacturing.
The company recently invested 1 billion pounds on setting up a state-of-the-art engine manufacturing facility in the UK to build low emission Ingenium engine.
JLR reported 27 per cent increase in retail sales, just three-years after being bought by the Tata Motors.
