Jaguar F-Type SVR To Be Available In India By This Year
Jaguar will soon be introducing its F-Type SVR model in the Indian market sometime during 2016. The F-Type SVR was recently showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. The Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) will produce each F-Type to customer preference and choice.
Powering the Jaguar F-Type SVR is a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine. The SVO team has tuned the engine to produce 567bhp and 700Nm of peak torque. The F-Type SVR can attain a top speed of over 320 km/h and will sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.5 seconds.
The SVO team will be equipping the Jaguar F-Type SVR with a redesigned bumper and splitter. The vehicle will also get a host of aerodynamic upgrades. An active carbon fibre rear wing and an all-new underbelly design will reduce aerodynamic drag.
The exhaust system will be made out of titanium alloy, which will provide an unique exhaust note. Suspension setup has also been worked on for a firmer and more confidence-inspiring driving experience. The Jaguar F-Type SVR will also get an AWD system with an 8-speed gearbox.
