Isuzu Motors India Appoints A New Chairman With Immediate Effect
Japanese carmaker Isuzu has appointed Hiroshi Nakagawa as the company's new Chairman for India with immediate effect. The company has also made a few changes to its top level management.
Isuzu Motors India's (IMI) former Chairman, Hiroyasu Miura, will take over as the Chairman and Managing Director of Isuzu Engineering and Business Centre India (IEBCI) with immediate effect. In a company statement, Isuzu said, "Miura will continue as a Director at IMI and Nakagawa will also assume the role of a Director at IEBCI."
62-year old Nakagawa comes with intense experience in the auto industry. He was formerly working with Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan for 35 years, and has been associated with Isuzu's business division as well.
The company added, "His appointment as the Chairman at IMI will further enhance the focus of Isuzu's Indian operations. All these changes are as per the business plans of the company."
