Japanese carmaker Infiniti, the luxury arm of Nissan has unveiled the updated 2017 QX60 SUV for the American market. Prices for the new QX60 start at $44,095 (Rs. 29.40 lakh) for the RWD model while the AWD model is priced at $45,895(Rs. 30.60 lakh)
The 2017 QX60 is powered by an updated 3.5-litre V6 engine churning out 291bhp and 366Nm of torque, which is around 30bhp and 27Nm of torque more than the previous year's SUV.
The increase in performance is thanks to the addition of direct injection, a revised air intake system, electronic variable timing control and mirror bore coating. The new V6 unit is still paired to a CVT (automatic) gearbox.
Inside the new crossover SUV features updated tech like an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system display and a 12V power point, a USB and HDMI port and Wi-Fi on the inside along with motion activated tailgate, high-beam assist and auto-dimming mirrors on the outside.
The new QX60 is available with a whole host of active safety features, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Backup Collision Intervention and Intelligent Cruise Control.
