Datsun To Award Indian Olympic Champions With redi-GO
Indian contingent is currently participating in the Rio 2016 Olympic games. As a morale booster, Datsun has decided to honour Indians who have made the country proud. The rising stars from India will be awarded a Datsun redi-GO for their hard work.
Arun Malhotra, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has confirmed this report. He explains that this is a proud moment for every Indian. Our athletes are go-getters and a great source of inspiration to us all, especially youngsters.
Sakshi Malik, P.V. Sindhu, and Dipa Karmakar are sure to be awarded Datsun's all-new redi-GO. Other Indian athletes that perform well will also receive Datsun's stylish hatchback. Datsun will be celebrating the achievement and success of the daughter of our country.
Datsun has been promoting its #ISayYes campaign across India. The campaign is to encourage youngsters, dreamers, and go-getters across the nation. The 'ISayYes' Campaign also promotes the never say never attitude amongst the youth of India.
Powering Datsun's redi-GO is an inline three-cylinder 799cc petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine produces 53bhp, along with 72Nm of peak torque output. The ARAI approved fuel efficiency figures for Datsun redi-GO stands at 25.17km/l.
