Hyundai India Now Confirms Launch Date For Its All-New Tucson
Hyundai Motors India has finalized that their Tucson will be launched on November 14, 2016. Previously, Hyundai Tucson was supposed to launch in the country on October 24th. No reason for the delay was ever cited by the South Korean-based automobile manufacturer.
Tucson will be placed in between Hyundai's Creta and Santa Fe models. Expect the Tucson to bear a price tag ranging from Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 20 Lakh. The previous iteration of Hyundai Tucson was not popular in the Indian market, however, the current-gen could be a game changer.
So far, engine options in Hyundai Tucson for India have not yet been revealed. The international market receives an option between a 1.6-litre petrol, 1.7-litre diesel, and 2.0-litre diesel engine. Hyundai India will surely offer both manual and an automatic transmission option.
In terms of design, Hyundai Tucson will now adopt the Fluidic 2.0 design philosophy. The all-new Tucson will look similar to the Santa Fe, however, it will be smaller in overall dimensions. Now, the Tucson will look more in sync with current Hyundai models offered in India.
