Hyundai N Performance Division Confirmed: Will Build An M4 Rivaling Car
Hyundai has revealed that it will be working on three separate N-branded performance cars, confirmed the plans as the brand unveiled its new Ioniq model to in South Korea.
Hyundai recently hired Albert Biermann, former chief engineer for BMW M Performance, to head up Hyundai's performance division.
The first car to be produced by the new performance division will be the N version of the front-wheel-drive i30 hatchback, primarily aimed at Europe
The N performance division will then develop a sports car, which might be an M4 fighting Genesis sports car.
Hyundai also revealed that its i30 would definitely be a front-wheel drive and have under 300bhp, rivaling the Ford Focus ST.
Genesis will launch six new models by 2020, although it is not clear whether the Genesis cars will make their Indian debut.
