Hyundai India Is All Set To Hike Pricing Of Creta Compact SUV
Hyundai Motors India regularly updates the pricing of its popular vehicles. Now, by September 2016, several of its products could witness a considerable price hike. The Hyundai Creta is most likely to receive a price hike according to several reports.
The Creta could witness a price hike by approximately Rs. 15,000 across variants. Hyundai Motors will be increasing the price of its models to offset the manufacturing and raw material cost incurred by the company. All dealerships have received price hike details via email.
So far, Hyundai India has witnessed an overwhelming response for the Creta. The automobile manufacturer has sold over 78,000 units of the compact SUV since launch. Recently, Hyundai introduced the Creta Anniversary Edition in the Indian market.
The Creta compact SUV is priced at a premium by Hyundai Motors In India. The base variant of the Hyundai Creta is priced at Rs. 9.17 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi), while the fully-loaded model of the compact SUV costs Rs. 14.51 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
Under the hood of Hyundai Creta are three engine options. A 1.6-litre VTVT petrol, a 1.4-litre CRDi diesel, and a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel. All three engine are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and Hyundai offers an optional 6-speed automatic only in the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine.
