Hyundai Creta AT With Petrol Engine Priced At Rs. 13.48 Lakh

Hyundai Motors India will be offering its Creta with an Automatic Transmission (AT) mated to a petrol engine. The compact SUV with a petrol engine and AT will be priced at Rs. 13.48 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai).

Creta petrol with AT will be available only in the SX+ trim level. Hyundai dealerships are accepting bookings across India for a price of Rs. 25,000. So far, Hyundai Motors India has not updated pricing of this particular model on their official website.

Under the hood will be a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine. The engine is tuned to produce 122bhp and 154Nm of peak torque output. Hyundai Motors has equipped the Creta with the same six-speed Automatic Transmission (AT) from their Elantra model.

Previously, Hyundai had introduced its six-speed AT only in the diesel powered Creta. The compact SUV from Hyundai has garnered a tremendous response in the Indian market. Hyundai's Creta is their top-selling model in the country currently.

Hyundai plans to introduce the Automatic Transmission option in lower spec models of the Creta as well. The inclusion of an optional AT in lower spec models of the compact SUV would boost sales significantly. Stay tuned for more updates and launches from Hyundai in the Indian market.
