Hyundai Creta Compact SUV Teased With Updated Design
Hyundai Motors introduced Creta compact SUV as an international product. In India, Hyundai launched its Creta compact SUV during July 2015. Now, the Brazilian market is set to get the Creta, which was previously going to be named as the ix25 model.
Now, Hyundai Brazil has shared two teaser images of its all-new Creta model. From the images, it can be noticed that minor design tweaks have been adopted for the Brazilian-spec Creta. All-new engine options will also be provided to Brazilian customers of Hyundai Creta.
Extensive use of Chrome is noticeable around the radiator grille. Front and rear bumper also have been redesigned. Hyundai has also adopted horizontal fog lamps for Brazil-spec Creta. The rear door gets a chrome strip from across the back, all-new reflectors are also visible.
Brazilian Creta will utilise Hyundai's 1.6-litre flex-fuel engine used in their HB20 model. This engine produces 128bhp, along with 161.81Nm of peak torque. Hyundai will pair this engine to an optional 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.
Hyundai will showcase the Brazilian-spec Creta at 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show. It is most likely to go on sale in Brazil during 2017. There is a high possibility that India too would get this version as a mild update sometime during 2017.
