2017 Hyundai Azera/Grandeur Revealed — Start Of A New Hyundai Design Revolution
Hyundai has revealed the all new Azera, which is sold as the Grandeur in Korea.
South Korean carmaker Hyundai has unveiled the first images of the all-new Azera sedan, which is sold in Korea as the Grandeur.
The new Azera/Grandeur is the start of a new design language for Hyundai and it would seem the that South Korean carmaker is looking at its luxury brand Genesis for inspiration.
Up front, Hyundai grille looks more upright while the long bonnet stretches into a sharply raked windscreen.
The sides of the car look quite muscular thanks to the character lines running around and Hyundai has shown off multiple alloy wheel options as well.
At the rear, the old car's full length tail lamps have been tweaked slightly so that they match the rest of the car's new look.
Inside, the Azera is lot more grand now thanks to the addition of leather. There is large touchscreen display for the infotainment system, underneath which sits a small analogue clock.
Hyundai has not revealed any engine options for the Azera/Grandeur, though we do expect it carry both four-cylinder and V6 engines under the hood.
The 2017 Grandeur will go on sale in Hyundai's home market of South Korea next month and should make its way to other markets in the following months.
