Honda Patents Windows That Can Be Tinted By A Swipe
The new kind of window mechanism that will allow the occupants to control the window tints with a swipe.
Latest reports reveal that Honda is patenting a new kind of window mechanism that will allow the occupants to control the window tints with a swipe.
Similar to the Magic Sky Control sunroof found in some of the Mercedes vehicles, Honda's new system will allow you to control the opacity of the window.
By swiping the window towards the bottom, you can also control exactly how much of the window you want to be shaded too. this should enable the setup to be used on any window of the car, including the windshield.
The patent reveals that the new window shade system will only work while the car is parked. The patent also says that it would use pinch movements for controls.
We think Honda's new setup could also a bring an end to the conventional flip-down sun visors found in modern cars.
