Hot Hatch From Honda, Genia To Launch Next Month
Honda will launch its new hatchback, which is based on the current City sedan. The new hatchback will be showcased in Chengdu Motor Show, next month in China. The first pictures of the car have been landed on the internet.
The new hatch from Honda is named as Genia. Taking a look at the leaked photos, Genia gets Honda's signature styling on the front, inspired by the Concept B, showcased in 2014. It also gets Honda's 'Solid Wing Face design' which was recently seen on the Avancier SUV.

Genia gets a thick gloss black grill, which holds the large Honda logo. A chrome strip runs across the grill, which lowers down to the chin at the centre. Its equipped with projector headlamps, similar to the City sedan, as sold in India.
The side profile of Genia is identical to City, but features a truncated boot design. Genia looks bold and stylish, when viewed from the rear, thanks to boomerang tail-lamps shared from the Civic. A neatly shaped bumper, with touch of chrome and a distinct rear spoiler, makes the car look stunning.
The hatchback will be equipped with 1.5-liter petrol engine and will have an optional CVT gearbox. This new hatch is expected to launch in China in near future, but no word from Honda, on launching this model in India.
