Honda Has Imported The CR-V Diesel To India For R&D
The latest search on Zauba.com reveals that Honda has imported a single CR-V Diesel to India for R&D purposes.
The search reveals that a white coloured CR-V Diesel has arrived in Tughlakabad port from the United Kingdom on 16, August.
The import export data further reveals that the imported model is equipped with a 1.6-litre diesel engine.
In the international market, the CR-V is offered with the 1.6-litre i-DTEC engine, which is offered in two options: one producing 118bhp and the other pushing out 158bhp. The gearbox options available are a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
Once launched in India, Honda is expected to bring the 1.6-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
In the Indian market, the CR-V Diesel will rival the likes of the Hyundai Tucson and the Jeep C-SUV which is expected to be launched in India next year.
