2016 Honda Amaze Launched, Prices Start At Rs. 5.29 Lakh
Honda has launched the facelifted Amaze compact sedan in India. Prices for the new Amaze start at Rs. 5.29 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).

Honda Amaze 2016 Engine & Gearbox Specifications
The facelifted Amaze is offered with the same petrol and diesel engines found in the previous model.
The petrol variants are powered by 1.2-litre engine that pushes out86bhp@6,000 rpm and 109Nm@4,500 rpm. The diesel variants have a 1.5-litre powerplant that produces 98bhp@3,600 rpm and 200Nm@1,750 rpm.
The petrol powered Amaze returns a mileage of 17.8km/l(manual) and 18.1km/l(automatic while the diesel guzzling Amaze reutns a mileage figure of 25.8km/l.
Both the petrol and diesel models of the Amaze are offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Petrol variants are also available with a 5-speed CVT automatic gearbox.
Facelifted Amaze Design Changes
Honda has made a few small changes to give the Amaze a new look. The front grille has a lot more chrome on it and resembles the one found on the City.
Both the bumpers have been tweaked with the front bumper getting larger air intakes and the fog lamps also sit in new enclosures.
Inside, the Amaze features a new instrument cluster similar to the one found on the Jazz along with a new dashboard. The central spine features a new automatic airconditioning system with touchscreen controls that has been borrowed from the City and the new bluetooth audio and . The interiors on the whole looks a lot more cleaner.
The Amaze is available in 7 different colors including the new Blue Titanium Metallic
Availability & Rivals
The new Amaze is now available at every honda dealership across the country and will go head to head with the Maruti Swift Dzire and the Hyundai Xcentm Ford Figo Aspire and the upcoming Volkswagen Ameo.
