Hamilton Sets The Pace Prior To Qualifying Session At Malaysian GP
Nico Rosberg has dominated practice session so far at the Malaysian GP. Lewis Hamilton has been struggling and has expressed that he is not happy with the circuit's final corner. Surprisingly though, Hamilton has managed to set the fastest time just before qualifying.
Lewis Hamilton set a lap time of one minute 34.434 seconds in FP3. Max Verstappen was second fastest in his Red Bull and split the Mercedes drivers. Nico Rosberg was third with a lap time of 0.619 seconds slower to Formula One 2016 Championship rival.
Scuderia Ferrari seems like they are still searching for additional pace around the Malaysian circuit. Kimi Raikkonen was marginally faster than teammate Sebastian Vettel. Expect Vettel and Raikkonen to up their pace a bit during qualifying.
Daniel Ricciardo seems to be struggling in Malaysia with his Red Bull Racing machine. The Australian racer was over a full second slower compared to Mercedes duo. Ricciardo could not replicate teammate Verstappen's pace around the Malaysian circuit.
Qualifying session for Formula One Malaysian GP will commence on October 1, at 14:30 IST. Stay tuned for more updates and news from the Malaysian GP. Also, do let us know who you think will take pole position in the comment section?
