Ford To Roll Out Its Media System ‘Sync 3’ Soon; Is India Next On The List?
In the coming months, Ford is expected to roll out its new media system 'Sync 3' across its range of models in Australia.
The updated media system from Ford will offer better connectivity options, with Apple CarPLay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring, also, improved mapping and menu layouts.
Media systems such as Sync 3 are having a greater impact on buying decisions with 61 percent of customers state it is significant what media system offer when deciding on purchasing a vehicle.
The new Ford Sync 3 system which gets new upgraded software and hardware and is designed to be more easier to use, intuitive and quicker.
With the touchscreen feature, the Sync 3 will be like a tablet and functions like pinch to zoom and swipe control will be seen on the new media system.
The media system can update the maps and software over Wi-Fi; however, it does not get the Wi-Fi hot spot which was seen in the Sync 2.
The Ford Sync 3 does not feature an in-built SIM, though it has the app usability through Spotify, Pandora, TuneIn Radio and more.
